This Privacy Policy explains how Race Preprr (the “App”) collects and uses information. It is designed for the scenario where the only data collected is crash and diagnostic information to improve stability and fix bugs. The App is built to work offline-first and does not require you to create an account.
Short version: we collect crash/diagnostic data via Sentry to keep the app reliable. We don’t collect your personal content, we don’t track you for ads, and we don’t sell your data.

If you’re based in the UK or EU, we process your data under the UK GDPR/EU GDPR and related laws.
When the App encounters an error or performance issue, it may send a diagnostic report to our crash analytics provider, Sentry. Depending on the error, a report may include:
We configure Sentry to avoid collecting personal data wherever possible (for example by scrubbing common PII patterns in stack traces). We do not collect contact data, messages, photos, precise location, health/fitness data, or payment information through the App.
Purpose: keep the App reliable—diagnose crashes, measure stability, and prioritise fixes.
Legal basis (UK/EU): Legitimate interests (UK GDPR/EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
If we expose a setting to opt-in to extra diagnostics, that extra data (if any) would be processed under consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw in-app at any time.
We use the following service to process crash and diagnostic data on our behalf:
We do not sell your data. We do not share data with advertisers.
Where data is processed outside your country (e.g., by Sentry), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or UK Addendum (as applicable).
Crash and diagnostic reports are retained only as long as needed to analyse stability issues and improve the App. Our standard retention in Sentry is up to 90 days (subject to plan/configuration). Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept longer.
Note: if crash reporting is disabled, we may be unable to diagnose issues specific to your device.
Subject to legal limits, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local authority.
Because we don’t operate user accounts and only process limited diagnostics, fulfilling some rights may require additional information to verify your installation/device.
We and our processor(s) implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect diagnostic data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we aim to minimise data and apply defence‑in‑depth.
The App is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent diagnostic data containing personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version in‑app and/or at the policy URL with a new “Effective date”.
